Endodontics is the study and treatment of disease involving the tooth root, pulp, and surrounding tissue. Much of our work involves root canal therapy, usually involving fractured or damaged teeth.
Root canal therapy involves removing the infected pulp from the interior of the tooth (the root canal) and filling it with an impervious, non-reactive material called gutta percha.
